PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE IS VITAL TO THE HEALTH OF YOUR SEPTIC SYSTEM.

EMERGENCY SERVICE

Cleaning and proper maintenance are vital in determining your septic system's lifespan. To maximize the life of your system, it is important to have a cleaning schedule that fits your household needs and septic tank capacity, along with routine tank inspections. All too often, we see septic system failures that could have been prevented or postponed had proper care and maintenance been taken into consideration.

We understand that your property is a big investment. Our goal is to help maximize the life of your septic system. Our licensed professionals have been trained to fully inspect and evaluate your septic tank EVERY time your system is serviced. This will help avoid costly emergency cleanings and failures and will also help properly plan for the future of your septic needs, extending the life of your system.

How Often Should My Tank Be Pumped?

Every 2-3 Years

*Based on average system capacity, household size, and use.

How do I prevent my system from failing?

Regular inspections & maintenance

Having a licensed technician inspect and regularly clean your tanks will help to extend the lifespan of your system.

What can go into my septic system?

Household wastewater & toilet paper

Only human waste, household wastewater, and toilet paper should go into the drain or flushed into your system. Other items like wipes and food waste can clog the system and prevent healthy bacteria from growing.

Should I have a tank riser lid installed?

Yes, we always recommend risers.

Most county septic codes now require installing a tank riser level with the ground for new systems. Risers provide quick access to the tanks in an emergency and also eliminate the expensive cost for our technicians to dig up lids during routine maintenance and inspection visits. We provide riser installation services, contact us today to get a quote.

How do you know how full my tank was?

Your tank will always have wastewater in it

Septic system tanks are designed to operate  full with wastewater. The solids or "sludge" dissipate to the bottom of the tank, and this is what is removed when your tank is cleaned out. Click here to see how a normal septic system works.

Do you inspect my system each time you clean it?

Yes, visual surface inspections are performed

During regular cleaning, our technicians only perform an inspection of the visible components of your tank. They check cracks near the tank lids, the amount of "sludge" in the system, any visible root infiltration, and any other components that can be seen. A full system evaluation and inspection can be scheduled when you are planning to sell your house (Time of Sale Inspection) or if you are having system issues. Call our office to get more information on our inspection services.
